Hello out there,

this is probably one of those posts, I do not like to write. But in fact, I have to face that this amazing experience is heading towards the end. Tomorrow, on Wednesday is my last final and then I have to think towards home. Right now, I wanna share with you some impressions over the last month. If I look back, I have to say that there was a lot of work to do in the last month and I am really proud of this success. I put a lot of heart and effort in every single project and exam and it turned out pretty well. Besides that I established a HUGE network and it was a pleasure for me to get in contact with every single student (colleagues), professor as well as successful entrepreneurs and I met a lot of them.

I did a lot of research for my Bachelor thesis and I am really excited about it. It will turn out huge! That’s all I can say right now. I am really proud of this work and it is a pleassure for me now putting it all onto paper. Right now, I want to thank everyone who constantly read through my blog because the hints on this blog have been amazing. People from everywhere looked on this blog and I also received a lot of interesting questions. I answered them all. If you would have further information, feel free to go to http://www.globitpro.org or visit my homeuniversity The Management Center Innsbruck: http://www.mci.edu.

Feel free to contact me, whenever you feel like contacting me. Thank you so very much again, and it was a pleassure for me. I would like to share some impressions with you right now. I wish you all the best, Markus

Interview – Article

Posted: December 1, 2010 in Wisconsin

I just want to show you an EXCERPT of the official Studentnewsletter of the University of Wisconsin, Eau-Claire. They did an Interview with me. I want to show you this article. Enjoy reading!

Hello out there!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted information, I know. But probably it is because now it is really busy. University is heading towards the end and there are a lot of tasks to do. By the way, Thanksgiving was amazing. It is absolutely one of my favourite holidays. I was invited to my advisers house and it was fantastic. And by the way,  Sidney is one of my new special friends (the dog) as you can see in the pictures down there. I also gave a bunch of interviews related to my homecity and Austria besides that I really love to play music in my spare time. I think there is not much to say, I just want to share some new pictures with you:

Hello there,

we have had our field trip the last weekend. We went to State I University of Iowa and then to The University of Nebraska, Omaha to visit the Austrian Students of the GlobIT Program. It was an amazing experience and very interesting. We have been also invited from Valmont International, an Omaha-based international company. They showed us the company and the Manager of Business Systems and Development introduced us into the company’s technology system. I would like to share some pictures with you: Have a nice weekend! Hello there

it has been a while, since I wrote the last impressions. Halloween was good and I saw a lot of little kids dressed up. I was helping at the Haunted Hause @ Southerland. There I played the piano on Friday.  I also went to a real Haunted House @ Eau Claire and it was really scarry. The chainsaw man made me run. :-) So time is moving on and there are only some days left.  I wish you a nice week. Markus

Hello there,

finally our Business Communication Class is really amazing! Today we got iPads, but not just for our international Videoconference. Isn’t it awsome? I really like the iPad and there are a lot of projects waiting for us… ;-) The Videoconferencing exam turned out pretty well and i wanna share some impressions with you again:

Regards, Markus

Hello there!

The headlining of this topic says everything, i guess. Those are the major fields, which fill my daily life (…why are there only 24 hours??). Here in Eau-Claire were severe floods and things didn’t look that good, days ago. But now, everything’s ok again and I already did a good job on my first exams. The first class is finished and midterms are comming up. Time goes way too fast. I would like to show you pictures of the flood and again, the daily life. Enjoy it. If our new students have any questions, feel free to send me a mail at steinem@uwec.edu or on ma.steiner@mci4me.at ….Regards, Markus

Elevator Pitch

Posted: October 7, 2010 in Wisconsin

Hello out there!

We have finished our elevator pitch for our new business idea. It was amazing. Getting down to the point of your idea within 1 minute and 30 seconds could be very hard. But it was a great experience. You should try it. Think of any idea and try to impress the investor within 1:30 min (…maybe in an elevator? :-) ). Here are some pictures of the day. Regards, Markus

Hello there!

Last week was a really really busy one. First of all, there were a lot of classes and again – a lot of homework. My colleague – Melanie – and I went to Royal Construction to Interview the President about “having success in business”. It was really amazing! It was unbelievable. Mr. Pabich is a really successfull entrepreneur with a huge business knowledge! They build and plan a lot of buildings – e.g. McDonalds in USA or Holiday Inn Hotels. We really enjoyed it. This week I also gave an introduction to the new GlobIT Students from UWEC! This was really amazing and I enjoyed hanging out with them! I wish you all a nice weekend! Here are some impressions from the last week (because of data protection (E-Mail adresses) is one picture edited)
